Development Plans
FL Technics is developing in a few key directions:
· New Aircraft types. In the next 12 months FL Technics will expand its certifcates to Part 145 Line and Base, Part 147, Part M into: Boeing NG, ATR 42/72, A320.
· Capacity expansion. Plans are being developed to expand hangars in Vilnius for Base Maintenance for up to 9 narrow-body aircrafts. Alternative expansion options are being carefully evaluated (for example, another hangar in Eastern European country).
· Expansion of Line Maintenance network. FL Technics plans to have up to 10 Line Stations within 12 months, with 70-100 people allocated.
· Expansion of premium-profitability services: Engineering (3-rd party), Part 147 Training, Spare Parts Trade, Component Repair, etc.
· Overall quality increase through improvement in processes, down-times, quality control, etc.
Job Position: Deputy Director for Engineering Department
We are looking for ways to both expand our Engineering Team and Develop the quality of engineering output to Internal and 3-rd party customers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying, developing, maintaining and supervising all engineering activities.
Manages and directs the effort of professional and technical personnel to ensure successful overall project performance.
Plans projects and executes to the plan with attention to detail.
Manages and directs the effort of professional and technical personnel in preparation of quotes and proposals as well as sales efforts.
Develops and implements improved procedures and standards to ensure that output is high quality, accurate, on-time, and within budget; which includes establishing metrics (key performance indicators) for the engineering projects and accountabilities for achieving results.
Reports progress in meeting external/internal customer requirements, goals, and expectations.
